Zepbound is the most effective weight-loss drug approved, and Mochi is one of the few resellers not charging a multiple of the manufacturer's price for it.
$299 a month for branded Zepbound, plus the $79 membership, is $378 all-in. LillyDirect sells the same product direct at $299 for 2.5 mg, $399 for 5 mg and $449 from 7.5 mg upward — with no clinical care attached.
So at maintenance doses Mochi is actually cheaper than the manufacturer once you account for what the membership includes, which is an unusual position in this market. Compare that with Eden reselling the same drug at $1,399 or Fridays at $1,828.

Against its own compounded line
Mochi's compounded tirzepatide is $90 plus the membership, or $169 all-in. Branded Zepbound is $378. The $209 monthly difference is what an FDA approval, manufacturer quality control and the actual trial evidence cost at this provider — published openly, which is the useful part.

What Zepbound is, and what it costs at source
Zepbound is tirzepatide, approved by FDA for chronic weight management, and it produced the largest average reductions of any drug in this class — roughly 20 to 21% of body weight over 72 weeks at the highest doses. It is also approved for obstructive sleep apnoea in adults with obesity, which occasionally unlocks coverage where a weight-only prescription would be refused.
Eli Lilly sells it directly. LillyDirect publishes single-dose vials at $299 a month for 2.5 mg, $399 for 5 mg and $449 for 7.5 mg through 15 mg, with KwikPens across the same range. That is the reference price, and it is close enough to mid-market compounded tirzepatide that the comparison is worth running properly.
Before you buy branded from a reseller
- Check the manufacturer's own price first — NovoCare for Wegovy, LillyDirect for Zepbound. Resale prices range across an order of magnitude.
- Establish whether a membership or programme fee is charged on top of the medication.
- Ask what the price is at your expected maintenance dose, since branded pricing usually rises with dose.
- If you have type 2 diabetes, ask about Ozempic or Mounjaro through insurance before paying cash for anything.
- Confirm whether the provider will submit a prior authorisation, and what happens if it is denied.
